AIR GAP COOLANT MIXING UNIT
Lubesolutions announce the introduction of a range of innovative venturi mixing systems that are approved by the Water Regulation Authority (WRA).
Standard mixing equipment, to conform to the WRA Regualtions, has to incorporate a system that negates the possibility of oil or chemical backflow. This is to safeguard against the possibility of chemicals and oils finding their way into the water mains supply and usually require an expensive header tank, motorised pumps and associated pipe work.
LUBESOLUTIONS now offer its customers an economical proportioner, that mixes water with chemicals and oils to metered concentrations with approved air gap backflow prevention incorporated into the unit.
Available in single and multi head units (useful for initial fill concentrate and top ups) they are an economical way of blending any coolant or chemical directly from the mains water supply.
BENEFITS:
- Easy to install
- Push Button Operation
- Minimises waste and saves on coolant and chemical spend
- Automatically blended concentrates keeping concentrate at recommended level
- Takes up minimal space fitted to the wall

PORTABLE REFRACTOMETER KITS
The mixing of emulsions has always been fraught with problems, often involving guesswork and/or hit and miss methods of gauging the correct amount of concentrate. Incorrect emulsion strengths can cause numerous problems with the product in use. Bacteria and corrosion problems are common examples of weak dilutions but more serious results of poor housekeeping are skin and environmental problems caused by over strength emulsions.
A simple method of monitoring the strength of an emulsion is with a refractometer. We supply a refractometer that is both robust and simple to use. Our refractometer is supplied with full instruction details, hard case, soft case,
A refractometer is a piece of optical equipment that accurately measures the balance of water to concentrate, as a percentage, to give the dilution in use. Correctly used it is an invaluable aid to the correct, efficient and economical use of emulsions.
