WATER SOLUBLE GRADES

Dromus
A very high oil content product. Forms a dense milky white emulsion when mixed with water. Applications: drilling, turning milling and reaming.
Materials: Stainless and high tensile steels and aluminium

 

 Shell Sitala range
A high oil containing water soluble product. Forms a milky white emulsion when mixed with water
Applications : drilling, turning, milling and reaming
Materials: Stainless, High tensile steels and aluminium

 

Shell Adrana range
A medium to high oil containing water soluble product. Forms a translucent emulsion when mixed. Semi-synthetic product. Very high corrosion resistance and bacterial stability. Applications : drilling, turning, milling and reaming
Materials : Cast Iron, Stainless, High tensile steel and aluminium

 

Shell Metalina Range
A fully synthetic product range containing which has excellent lubricity, corrosion inhibitant and biostable qualities

NEAT OIL GRADES – Shell Macron and Garia range

Both the Shell Garia and Shell Macron range offer a range of neat cutting oils that are available in a number of viscosities
The Macron range is suitable for light to medium duty work and can be used on yellow metals The Garia range is suitable for medium to heavy duty work and should not be used on yellow metals
